Besides the affordable price, this mattress is equal in quality to higher priced brands.
It arrives in one box and my first thought was that some parts would be missing but, shockingly, they somehow shoved the entire king into 9 cubic feet of space. I guess that is why the instructions tell you to allow it to sit for 24 hours after unpacking to allow it to 'unwind'.
Assembly of the product is surprisingly easy if you take the time to look at the video available on You Tube or the company website ([...]). Just remember, the critical part is to correctly align the bed rail system exactly as it is shown in the video and match the dots on the system where they align.
My only problem was that I attempted to fill the air chambers at the same time. It will not work like that. It must be done one side at a time.
I set my side to 45 and didn't wake up once during the night. My Wife is comfortable with the setting around 35.
The only problems I found with the system is that the pump is noisy, even with a towel between the floor and it. But, the pump only runs while changing settings so I wouldn't recommend changing the settings while your mate is sleeping.
The only other drawback is that the air bladders have that lingering rubber smell that will last for days. Fabreze don't hide it.
The good certainly outweighs the bad, however. Price, quality and service all beats Sleep Number.
