I purchased four sets of sheets from this seller. All were supposed to be 1200 thread count. I received two sets marked 1200 thread count, and two marked 1600 thread count. Originally I was pretty excited about the upgrade, until I took them out of the packaging. All four sets were of material that was almost transparent and had the look, feel, and texture of hospital grade gauze-and not the good kind. The seams on the pillow cases were not sewn, and there were repaired small tears on the fitted sheets. We actually tried sleeping on one set, it was like sleeping on sandpaper, or hospital gauze. I contacted the seller and eventually got a refund, but was not refunded, or even offered a refund for the return shipping costs. They also were anything but pleasant. In truth, rather aggressive. I finally ended up telling them that the interactions were getting very uncomfortable, and that the returned sheets were indeed at their facility as I had received delivery confirmation-for which they stonewalled for some time. The final straw was when I received an email telling me they were a small, family owned company and were requesting that I not only leave positive feedback, but that I actively refute any posted negative feedback! Amazon needs to do a far better job screening its sellers. This was not a positive or professional transaction. Need I say I won't be back?
